About EGD493

EGD493 is a Temporary Danger Area established to support Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) UAS operations from Snaizeholme, North Yorkshire, as part of the Drone Observation of Clouds (DOOC) programme.

The TDA is sponsored by Menapia under Airspace Change Proposal ACP-2025-053.

The TDA extends from the surface to 7000 ft AMSL and is active only when notified by NOTAM.

Operations may take place between 25 June and 30 November 2026.
